Public rooms in the Main House include the Keeping Room with its nine foot wide fireplace; the Red Room lends itself more to quiet pursuits such as meditation or reading. The Snuggery, originally the borning room, is now a small library.

Main House guests will be more comfortable in flat heeled shoes due to its natural surroundings and two hundred year old floors.
