Visiting us soon? While you`re here, check out the historic Mystic River Bascule Bridge in downtown Mystic. It was built in 1922 and connects the Groton side of the river with the Stonington side of the Mystic River. The bridge raises 40 minutes past the hour each day from May 1st through October 31st.
