Tucked away on the second floor of the historic 1807 House, the Stonecroft Room is one of the inn's most elegant and private retreat-accessed by your own dedicated staircase for a truly secluded experience.

Step into a space where art and history converge. A hand-painted wrap-around mural sets the scene with whimsical 19th-century charm-complete with a sunning circle, a cameo by the Beatles, and hidden surprises like James Dean and a mysterious ghostly figure. (Can you spot them all?)

This romantic room is furnished with handcrafted tiger maple reproductions, including a stately king-size pencil post canopy bed and a traditional chest-on-frame dresser. Two French Empire Bergère chairs invite you to unwind by the wood-burning fireplace, while original wide-plank wood floors-some up to 22 inches wide-add historic warmth and character.

Modern comforts include complimentary Wi-Fi, a small writing desk and chair and seasonal air conditioning. The private en-suite bath features plush Turkish towels, luxury bathrobes, and select spa-quality amenities, creating a serene space to relax and refresh.

The Stonecroft Room is perfect for those seeking a refined, peaceful escape steeped in elegance, history and imagination.
